Our Story
Every great journey begins with a simple question. For us, it was: why should the place we spend a third of our lives in leave us hot, restless, and reaching for the cool side of the pillow at 3 a.m.?
The idea behind Puraff started with sleep — specifically, the kind of overheated, sweaty, can't-get-comfortable sleep that so many of us quietly live with every night. We tried the usual fixes: cranking the AC, kicking off the covers, flipping the pillow. None of it solved the real problem, which was the bedding itself.
So we went looking for a fabric that could actually regulate temperature — not just feel cool for the first five minutes. That search led us to Lenzing TENCEL™ Lyocell, a fiber engineered to wick moisture and breathe far better than cotton. We built Puraff around it.
Along the way, we noticed something else. The nights we cared about most weren't solo nights — they were shared nights. With a partner. With a dog stretched out across the foot of the bed. With a cat who insists on the exact center of the pillow. Good bedding had to work for all of it, not just one person sleeping alone.
That's the idea behind everything we make: cool enough for one, soft enough for two, and durable enough for the whole household — paws included.
